World Cup Amateur Foosball Competition

Foosball UK presents its inaugural Foosball tournament at Telford's Warehouse, Chester, on Saturday 12th June to coincide with the start of the FIFA World Cup 2010!

The tournament is open to people of all ability and ages (18+) and there are spaces for singles and doubles, so you can play by yourself or with a friend or with someone you meet on the day.

It is a World Cup themed tournament, so each player/team will be a nation competing in the World Cup, and it will follow the same tournament structure, group stage followed by knock out rounds.

Could Algeria beat England?! Can North Korea beat Brazil?! Anything could happen!

It only costs £5 per player to enter, and there will be cash prizes and bottles of bubbly to be won for the top four teams, as well as a few other prizes for best trick shot and a wooden spoon award.

Foosball UK will be providing Fireball tables (the world's best tables) for you to strut your stuff on, and there will also be some home play tables on sale if you would like to take one home...

You can register by signing up behind the bar at Telford's or registration will be open on the day of the tournament from 11:00am - 12:00pm. The tournament will go on until around 5pm, leaving you plenty of time to plan out what you are going to do for the big England match at 7:30pm.
